I have been wagering on the internet or at real life gambling halls for many years. I have determined, the addiction usually will take a hold of you and you will not even see it up until you are broke. Specifically if you are on a profit streak. I have gone through countless hundreds of dollars in just a little period of time and even still on occasion, I will go too long. It appears you are just having fun up until you choose to consider your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you continue advising yourself "I could win it back" again and again. It does not work. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the more rapidly you spend.
When you see that you are ahead, STAY Ahead! When you start to lose, don’t convince yourself, "well just one more" and again and again, believe me, this technique RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on playing on slots, have a pot separate before beginning your wagering. DON’T go over that boundary, no matter how appealing. If you happen to profit, put that in a different pot. Do not wager your profits no matter what. Once you have played through your beginning set limit, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar casino, do not stay at the tables or machines. Always keep in mind, there no doubt will be another day, another time. Clearly, this plan usually will function for any game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, blackjack or any other casino game.
Remember, wagering is supposed to be entertaining not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If you can’t pay for the loss, don’t even begin.
