First to clarify why I write this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at land based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are flat broke. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you decide to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you try the faster you lose.
When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic almost never ever operates. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set to the side prior to starting your play. DO NOT go over that limit, regardless how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Don’t risk your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it’s online or at a physical casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, a different time.
Remember, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, don’t even start.
